Lewis Wren is this month’s employee spotlight! He has been with us for 6 years now and is currently the assistant warehouse manager. Lewis was born and raised in Florida, and worked at Tony’s Pizza before starting at Mahaska. Meet Lewis Wren!
What does a typical day at Mahaska look like for you?
My job is to supervise the warehouse and make sure everything runs smoothly. With my team I build loads and assist customers with their pickup orders. As the assistant warehouse manager I am the second pair of eyes for the warehouse manager to make sure operations check out.
Favorite beverage that Mahaska distributes?
Arizona Tea is my favorite beverage.
What do you do outside of Mahaska for fun?
Outside of work I am very active. I exercise and workout regularly and love any chance to get outdoors and be active.
What’s something no one would guess about you?
Back in the day I used to play semi-professional basketball.
How would your friends describe you?
They would say that I am positive, enthusiastic, and someone that is always looking for a good time. Simply said, they would say that I am fun.
