What drew you to Mahaska originally?

My position at Budweiser was being relocated to Fremont NE, I had just bought a house with my wife and the uncertainty of a job had me looking. I called Lee Clark that night jokingly asking if he had any openings as he had been trying numerous times to get me to come to Mahaska. So, Lee Clark dragged me here, I mean drew me here.

What have you gained from working at Mahaska?

I have gained many relationships throughout the company as well as with customers. In the positions that I have had here at Mahaska I have been able to broaden my area of expertise by gaining knowledge in all areas of the company.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day for me ranges from checking on accounts and the products we service as well as helping out my route drivers and salesmen.

What do you do outside of Mahaska for fun?

From time to time, I like to build wood work. But I also like to go golfing and fishing whenever the opportunity is available. Anything outdoors I like to participate in, the little things like climbing the rocks at devil’s tower or walking trails off the beaten path are things I find joy in doing.  I’m very passionate about my vehicles as well so on nice days you’ll see me detailing them (for fun).

If you could pick a superpower, which would it be? Why?

Divine Healing. Simple really, I would like to be able to heal those in need and myself.

What inspires you?

Family

If you had $1,000,000, how would you spend it?

First, I would pay off all my wife’s and my outstanding bills. Id help out our family. I’m sure there would be some indulging on a few random items I felt I really wanted. I think a majority of it would go into a safe place for our future.

What is your favorite quote?

I’ve never had a favorite quote; I like many different ones but none that I would be able to quote to you right off hand.
