Randy Snodgrass is Mahaska’s Marketing Manager. While in the office, Randy is constantly busy and always traveling out in the market. He is an extremely loyal employee and is very dedicated to his family. In his free time, he enjoys many outdoor activities and is involved in giving back to his kids school. What is a typical day at Mahaska look like for you?
Typical day starts at 6:00am. I am busy with checking emails or phone calls. Going out in the market locally or into our extended areas, which are 2+ hours away, to work with sales people.
Favorite beverage that Mahaska distributes?
Diet Mountain Dew and Lipton Peach Tea.
Favorite snack that Mahaska distributes?
I’m a sucker for a Snickers bar.
What do you do outside of Mahaska for fun?
I like to spend time with family, hunt, fish, and collect firearms.
How would you think your friends describe you in one sentence?
A person that you can always count on. Outgoing personality and very loyal.
What are you most passionate about?
My family and working towards retirement.
Are you involved in the local community? If so, how?
I am on my second term as a school board member at the school my children attend. I also organize a huge wild game feed for my kids Parochial school. We feed over 1,000 people and raise over $40,000.
What have you seen Mahaska do that benefits the local community?
The “Dew It For Your School” program and the many donations we do throughout the year.
